The Heritage Motor Centre is proud to join Mini enthusiasts in supporting the IMM during the 50th celebrations in 2009.
The Heritage Motor Centre will be providing camping facilities for all visitors to the IMM from the 2 to the 14 August 2009. The Centre is approx. a 40 minute drive up the M40 then M42 to Cofton Park.
In addition to tents, caravans are welcome but no electrical hook-ups will be available. Campsite facilities will include a mains water supply, toilets and Elsan points. A limited number of showers will be available. There are 120 pitches – a pitch is equal to one tent or caravan/ motor home and one car. We recommend you book early to avoid disappointment.
With exception of guide and assistance dogs pets are not permitted anywhere in the museum. Any pets on the campsite must be kept on a lead at all times.
Booking and fees
The camping will be spilt into three sections comprising four nights per section. Please note you cannot book single nights only.
Section 1 PRE IMM - 2nd (Sun night) - 5th (Wed night) August
Section 2 IMM LONG WEEKEND - 6th (Thurs night) - 9th (Sun night) August
Section 3 POST IMM - 10th (Mon night) – 13th (Thurs night) August
The same fee applies to each section and will increase incrementally as outlined below. All prices include VAT.

A very special Mini Heritage Run will take place on Saturday 8th August 2009 from the Heritage Motor Centre to the IMM’s Mini 50th celebrations at Cofton Park, Longbridge. The Minis will depart in year order from the Heritage Motor Centre at approx. 9.30am lead by the museum’s first Morris Mini 621 AOK. The first cars are due to arrive at Cofton Park from 11am. Once all Minis have arrived a photo shoot will take place marking the momentous occasion after which 621 AOK will be escorted into the Mini Hall of Fame for the remainder of the weekend. All run participants will be parked in pride of place for the rest of the day.
Everyone owning a classic Mini is welcome to apply to take part in the Mini Heritage Run. Simply complete a Mini Heritage Run application form and either post/ email to the Heritage Motor Centre. Don’t forget to include a photo of your Mini with your application.
We aim to get 49 Minis, one from each year of manufacture and in the best condition, to take part. Successful applicants will be notified by 15 July 2009. Closing date for applications is the 8th July 2009
